Dr. Emma Leslie is an Australian-Cambodian peacebuilder who has dedicated her career to fostering peace and reconciliation in Asia since 1993. As a co-founder of Action Asia and the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, she has played a vital role in promoting conflict resolution and developing postgraduate programs in applied conflict transformation studies. Dr. Leslie’s extensive experience includes establishing the Cambodia Peace Museum, supporting peace processes in the Philippines and Myanmar, and facilitating dialogue between the Philippine government and the National Democratic Front. She is a founding member of the South East Asia Women Peace Mediators, advocating for increased female participation in peacebuilding. Her contributions have earned her an MA in International Development, an Honorary Doctorate in International Education, and the Order of Australia.

Dr. Leslie is passionate about empowering local communities and promoting peace throughout Asia. Her expertise in conflict transformation, mediation, and facilitation has made her a recognized leader in the field and an inspiration to peacebuilders worldwide.
